Bali has a growing padel scene — courts have opened across the island over the past couple of years, and the sport is picking up fast with both locals and expats.
Where to play
You'll find courts in Seminyak, Canggu and Ubud. Most clubs offer court hire, rental gear and coaching sessions, which makes it easy to drop in even if you haven't brought your own kit. Indoor courts are available year-round and tend to book out quickly in the late afternoon.
Booking tips
Reserve in advance, especially for weekend slots and peak evening hours. Most clubs let you book by phone or through WhatsApp. Some use court-booking apps — check each venue's Instagram for links and updates.
Meeting other players
Several clubs run weekly social sessions and open mixers, which are a good way to get games in if you're travelling solo or don't have a regular partner. Search for padel groups on Facebook or ask at the front desk when you arrive.
